Job Title – Account Executive – Corporate
Job Classification – This job is full-time, permanent and is exempt.
General Duties – This person shall report to the President and shall perform all associated functions within assigned corporate accounts to identify and close sales and purchasing opportunities.
This person shall work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM through 5:00 PM or other hours as assigned by the Director of Sales.
Specific Responsibilities – Specific tasks delegated to this employee include, but are not limited to:
Account Development – Identify enterprise corporate lead sources. Prospect in assigned industries and/or territories to introduce Function5 and identify potential customers. Set appointments. Maintain a call log and appointment log.
Territory Management – Maintain specified customer relationships through email, telephone and personal contact. Track and maintain customer satisfaction. Maintain customer information files. Resolve customer problems.
Sales – Respond to customer inquiries. Confirm customer requirements and prepare quotes. Receive customer purchase orders and prepare sales orders. Maintain a buying level within each account as directed by President.
Purchasing – Identify opportunities to acquire equipment, either on consignment or direct purchase. Negotiate purchase terms including price. Prepare purchase orders.
General – Answer incoming phone calls. Prepare general correspondence related to assigned accounts. Maintain sales/purchasing logs for management review. Perform other tasks as directed.
Job Requirements – High School Diploma Required. College Degree Preferred. Three years sales experience required. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and internet portals and search tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Required Physical Skills – This person must be able to type, using a standard keyboard and must be able to use a telephone. Must have and maintain a valid NY State driver’s license.
