Warranty Policy

We stand behind what we sell.

Unless stated on buyer’s original Purchase Order and agreed to by Function5 Technology Group, we provide a standard one year warranty from the date product shipped. Function5 warrants the equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship, considering normal use and service, providing the equipment is properly installed according to manufacturer’s specifications. This warranty expires one year from the date of shipment, or at the time the equipment is placed under a manufacturer or other approved maintenance contract, whichever occurs earlier.

For end users, we provide a lifetime warranty limited only by end-of-life dates as established by the manufacturer.

In the event any equipment sold by Function5 is found to be defective in material or workmanship within the stated warranty period, Function5 will, at its own expense and at its sole discretion, either repair or replace the product or refund the purchase price.

This warranty excludes:

  • Equipment specifically offered “as-is” or under limited warranty.
  • Equipment placed and maintained under a maintenance agreement by a manufacturer or maintenance supplier.
  • Equipment determined by Function5, at its sole discretion, to have been abused, misused, altered, neglected or damaged in shipping.
  • Equipment which has had any repair attempt made unless expressly authorized by Function5 in writing.
  • Equipment for which payment is not made in accordance with agreed-upon terms.

No warranty claim will be honored unless Function5 has pre-authorized the expense.

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE, FUNCTION5 DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES ON PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

To Obtain Warranty Service

Please visit our website at f5technology.com and click on RMA Request at the bottom of the page. Complete and submit the form provided. When this form is received, will determine the course of action to be taken. If return authorization is granted, an RMA# will be issued, adhering to all RMA policies as listed on this website.

Any equipment returned to Function5 that does not meet the above requirements, or does not have an. RMA#, will be returned without action at buyer’s expense.
